Moy Park is the largest poultry meat producer in Northern Ireland and one of the 15 biggest food companies in the UK. In turn it is owned by one of the largest food businesses in the world. Moy Park’s European HR Director asked LifeAdventureCo to design and deliver a team building solution for 100 of its Europe-wide directors. The break-out activity was to be part of a wider conference event held at Titanic Belfast on the corporate theme of ‘Compete to Win.’
LifeAdventureCo designed a four-hour challenge event around the theme ‘Compete to Win’ that pushed participants out of their comfort zone, stimulated maximum employee engagement amongst team members and helped break down barriers. The solution was tailored to suit the industrial setting of T13 at Titanic and was based on our very popular ‘Project Venture’ team building intervention. Sub-teams were given ‘venture capital’ to invest against successful completion of physical and problem solving activities with returns on investment awarded depending on how well the teams worked together to complete the tasks within the targets set. In keeping with the industrial theme, recycled manufacturing materials were used to construct obstacles for the tasks. From a climbing wall, to archery, rope climbs and stunt bike challenges as well as blindfold spray-paint graffiti competition, this exciting event delivered a team bonding experience in a fun way that captured the essence of Moy Park’s corporate values and people behaviours.
